Life at Trinity

Statement of Welcome & Inclusion
In 2016, Trinity became a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Congregation. Trinity was approached by Reconciling Works, the organization that assists congregations to be open and affirming with the RIC designation, and asked to reassess our commitment to welcome and inclusion.

No Kings Rally — October 18
Join with other members of Trinity as we live out our faith in public together by participating in this pro-democracy, nonpartisan rally in Evanston. No Kings is a peaceful National Day of Action in response to increasing authoritarian excesses. Come stand together in support of our more vulnerable neighbors. Raise your voice in union against the increasing erosion of our constitutional rights. Find hope in community with one another. We do this as Christians, called to “do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)

Beacons of Light
Each Thursday evening members of Trinity, along with friends and neighbors from local houses of worship are gathering for a 30 minute public witness (“positive protest”) at various sites throughout the community.
