Welcoming Easter

In the days leading up to Easter, Trinity Lutheran was busy getting ready to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors. The work around the church reflected a shared commitment to hospitality and service.

As part of the ongoing parsonage renovation, contractors scraped and re‑stained the sanctuary’s front doors, giving them a refreshed look just in time for Easter services. The photos from that day capture a welcoming congregation preparing its space with care, anticipating the increased attendance and the joy of gathering together.

Throughout Lent, the people of Trinity also completed a 500‑pound food collection for Niles Township Food Pantry. This effort stood as a tangible expression of Trinity’s mission to serve neighbors and meet real needs in the community.

Taken together, these preparations—polished doors, spring cleaning, and generous giving—reflect the heart of Trinity Lutheran. Easter was welcomed not only with celebration, but with open doors, open hands, and a spirit ready to serve.
