Blessing of the Pets
Saturday, October 4 | 9:00–9:30 a.m. | Front Lawn

Bring your pets—dogs on leashes, cats in carriers, birds in cages, even your lizards or iguanas—for a short service of blessing in front of the church. We’ll have treats and water for the animals, coffee for the humans, and a chance to give thanks for the joy our pets bring.

Everyone’s welcome—neighbors, friends, and visitors included. Stop by, shakes some hands (and paws), and start your Saturday off right!

As we come to the end of our 6-week celebration of the “Season of Creation” this fall, Trinity is delighted to welcome the Rev. Brian Sauder, President & CEO, and the Rev. Nicolette Faison, Illinois Outreach Director, of Faith in Place.

Join with other members of Trinity as we live out our faith in public together by participating in this pro-democracy, nonpartisan rally in Evanston.

No Kings is a peaceful National Day of Action in response to increasing authoritarian excesses. Come stand together in support of our more vulnerable neighbors. Raise your voice in union against the increasing erosion of our constitutional rights. Find hope in community with one another. We do this as Christians, called to “do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)

Join neighbors across Evanston in a weekly public witness of hope and solidarity. Every Thursday from 6:00–6:30pm, people are gathering at key corners in our city—lifting up signs, voices, and visions for a more just and compassionate world.
