Finding Faith and Fun at Lutherdale
Earlier this winter, 27 youth and 3 adults from Trinity packed up and headed north to Lutherdale for a few days of faith, friendship, and a lot of laughter.
From the moment everyone arrived, the energy was high. There were games and activities designed to stretch us a little and help us grow our faith. Some moments were more serious. Others were completely ridiculous in the best possible way.
We loved tobogganing straight out onto the frozen lake. There were also team challenges that involved wrapping teens in tin foil, building human pyramids, and figuring out how to work together without collapsing.
In between the games and outdoor adventures, there were conversations about faith, life, and what it means to support each other. Retreats have a way of opening space for deeper relationships. We found time to talk, listen, and share stories, showing us how connected we really are.
We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this weekend happen! It was a great reminder of how powerful it is when youth have space to connect with each other and grow in faith.
