Trinity’s 15-Year Tradition of Supporting Holy Family Continues
On Saturday, February 7, Trinity joyfully hosted the Have a Heart for Holy Family Valentine Benefit Luncheon in support of the Holy Family School Scholarship Fund. For more than 15 years, Trinity has been home to this annual event, bringing together love, fellowship, and a shared commitment to expanding access to Christ-centered education throughout our community.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of those present, more than $33,000 was raised at the event, with additional online donations still being counted. What an incredible testament to the power of coming together for a meaningful cause!
We were especially grateful to hear from members of the Holy Family School community, who reminded us why this scholarship fund matters so deeply: Chaplain Leslie Hunter, Assistant Principal Erika Jackson, student Naomi Barnes (’26), Cheryl Wells Collins, CEO, and Laura Valentino, Chief Development Officer. The 65 people in attendance were inspired by the heartfelt gratitude shared and the bright vision for the school’s future. Their stories made it clear that scholarships do more than provide tuition assistance. They open doors, nurture faith, strengthen families, and create opportunities that can shape a lifetime.
The annual luncheon would not have been possible without the dedication of the “Have a Heart” Planning Committee. Special thanks to Stephanie Gabriele, Peg Lee, Rebecca Mestelle, Cindi Rachowicz, Paula Selvig, Joan Sherman, and Phyllis Treff for their faithful leadership and hard work behind the scenes.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and prayed for this ministry. Together, we are helping students grow in faith, knowledge, and opportunity through Holy Family Ministries.
