The Rev. Robin Brown
Pastor for Worship

September 6–October 4

Pastor Robin Brown attended Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago for her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry in Preaching following her first career as a sales and marketing VP. She served Grace and St. John in Tripoli, IA, Wilmette Lutheran Church in Wilmette, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenview, and was then invited to serve on churchwide staff to support and encourage congregations in their generosity to ELCA World Hunger. She finished her call as ELCA Director of Congregational Generosity in mid-summer 2022.

As Pastor for Worship at Trinity in the month of September, Pastor Brown will preside and preach during worship on Sunday mornings.

In retirement, Pastor Brown has preached and presided at dozens of congregations across the synod and served three part-time interims: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Lombard, Grace Lutheran Church Mount Prospect, and Executive Assistant to the Bishop. She serves on Metro Chicago’s candidacy committee, served as candidacy admin and co-chair for the synod’s 2025 elections, and wrote two quarters of ELCA World Hunger sermon starters.

In her free time, Pastor Brown loves to read, sing, plan gardens, play board games, and study French.
