The Rev. Peg Otte
Pastor for Congregational Care
Pastor Peg Otte is a longtime member of Trinity, having raised three kids here with her husband, Randy, before starting seminary studies at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in 2000. She’s served congregations in the Metro Chicago Synod. Since retirement, Pastor Peg continues to provide ministry as an interim, bridge, and advising pastor, as well as a pulpit substitute.
At Trinity, Pastor Otte will serve on the Transition Team as Pastor for Congregational Care beginning on Wednesday, September 9. In this role, she’ll provide pastoral care to church members through visitation, prayer, and more. To share a request for pastoral care or support, please contact the church office.
Pastor Otte shares, “Since the summer of 2025, Randy and I have been able to attend Trinity more regularly, reconnecting and meeting the many new members here. It’s an ongoing delight. During the transition I’m grateful to be your pastor for community care: talking and praying together; sharing in holy communion and God’s sure promises; being with each other in times of sadness and joy, change and uncertainty, questions and hope. I’ll be available for ongoing and need-specific visits at home or in care-settings, emergency pastoral care, baptismal preparation, funerals and memorial services, and connection as coordinated with Trinity’s spiritual care groups.”
