No Kings Rally — October 18

Fountain Square, Evanston

Saturday, October 18, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon

Join with other members of Trinity as we live out our faith in public together by participating in this pro-democracy, nonpartisan rally in Evanston. No Kings is a peaceful National Day of Action in response to increasing authoritarian excesses. Come stand together in support of our more vulnerable neighbors. Raise your voice in union against the increasing erosion of our constitutional rights. Find hope in community with one another. We do this as Christians, called to “do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God.”

Join us. We'll meet at Trinity on Saturday, October 18, at 9:45 to carpool to Fountain Square, starting early so those not able to stand can claim seats set up for that purpose by the organizers.

If you wish, you're also invited to join us in Trinity’s Gathering Space on Thursday, October 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM to make posters. Poster supplies and light refreshments will be provided. If you're attending the Shine the Light group that evening, come on over afterward to Trinity to join in the fun of poster making with us.
