Trinity is joining congregations across the ELCA for God’s work. Our hands. Sunday — a day dedicated to loving our neighbors through service. Together, we’ll roll up our sleeves and take part in two opportunities right here in Evanston.

Soup Kitchen Prep & Packing Lunches at Trinity

When: Sunday, September 7, beginning at 8:30 a.m. for soup kitchen prep, and after worship to assemble meals and pack lunches.
What: We’ll prepare food for the Soup Kitchen at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and pack lunches for delivery to both the Soup Kitchen and Connections for the Homeless.

Lutheran Campus Ministry at Northwestern University

When: Sunday, September 7, 1:00–4:30 p.m.
Where: 2204 Orrington Ave., Evanston
What: Help with power washing, windexing, dusting, weeding, and general cleaning in support of Lutheran Campus Ministry at Northwestern University. We can use up to about 20 volunteers — the more hands, the lighter the load!

Provided: Water, snacks, and all cleaning supplies.
