Experience worship in a fresh and soulful way at the Jazz Worship Service on Sunday, January 25, at 9:30 AM at Trinity. Held annually since 2009 (excluding 2021 due to COVID), this beloved service features the liturgical jazz music of composer and retired educator Dan Keberle, who brings original, singable melodies to familiar jazz harmonies and forms. Blending the rhythms and spirit of jazz with prayer, scripture, and song, the service invites the congregation to sing along with jazz-inspired settings influenced by classics such as Horace Silver’s “Song for My Father” and Herbie Hancock’s “Maiden Voyage.” Whether you are a jazz enthusiast or simply curious, come ready to listen, reflect, and be inspired by the movement of the Spirit through music.
