Lutherans are Christians who believe that the world has been reconciled to God by God's grace (unconditional love) in Jesus Christ. Other Christians believe that, too, because it's in the Bible. But with us it is central. That means we can add nothing to what Jesus has accomplished. Each person is lovable and forgivable. Our desire is to pass on the forgiveness we have received. God will not abandon us, no matter how stressful or difficult our life may become. Hope rests in what Jesus has done for us. By his life, death, and resurrection we've been forgiven and given the promise of eternal life. We want to thank God for his great gifts by living our lives to make a positive difference in the world.
