SANKTA LUCIA Trinity Lutheran Church was founded over a hundred years ago by people of Scandinavian descent. To celebrate the northern European ethnic traditions of the founders, Trinity still observes the Sankta Lucia Fest every year in mid-December. All are invited to participate in this wonderful bit of Scandinavian heritage, and you don't have to be Swedish to attend! Our Sankta Lucia Fest is really a cross between a worship service and a program. The sanctuary is ablaze with candles, adding to the magic of the event! After the service, Swedish desserts are served in Fellowship Hall. Hope to see you all in mid-December! For More information call the church office at (847)673-8564.
