Music has a rich tradition at Trinity Lutheran Church. Whether you’re interested in singing in a choir, playing handbells, playing in the worship band, being involved in vocal or instrumental solos or small ensembles, or song leading, opportunities at Trinity abound.
Please contact Dan Dauner, our Director of Worship and Music if you’re interested in participating in Trinity’s choirs.
The 11:00 am Contemporary Worship Service focuses on both current Christian artists and song materials/treatments in a wide range of genres. If you are interested in offering your talents please contact Dave Berger firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Handbell Choir plays every 4-6 weeks September through May, and rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings, 7:00-8:00. While previous experience with playing bells is not necessary, an ability to count and follow music is needed.
The Sanctuary Choir sings at the 8:30 AM service September through May, with one Sunday off a month. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 8:00-9:30 PM. The group sings a wide variety of literature of varying difficulty levels with a leaning toward more traditional literature.
The Spirit Ensemble sings at the 11:00 AM service September through May, with one Sunday off a month. The group rehearses one evening a month, typically the Friday immediately preceding the first Sunday of the month. The rehearsal takes place in the home of an ensemble member, and is preceded by a simple meal or potluck supper. The music used is generally easy and in a variety of contemporary styles.
